The systems have been restored. The problem was a pretty massive and simultaneous hardware failure on one of our core servers. We have redundant systems so we were able to migrate to one of those to help minimize the downtime. We may be doing system tests over the next few days which could result in additional downtime, but, at this time, we are hoping not to have to do so.
We apologize again for this inconvenience. This was our first prolonged outage in several years, but we still understand that any downtime is troublesome and we are sorry again that it occurred. Please also note that at no time were core services such as DNS, name server resolution, email forwarding, etc. down as those run on entirely separate and redundant systems of their own.
