On 05/28/2010 The network upgrade was completed successfully. This upgrade included:
Replace Network Edge router to allow full BGP routing table with the ability to handle upto 80Gbps of incoming bandwidth
Increased Network Edge bandwidth capacity.
Completed New space bandwidth upgrade and add new Unmetered Gig servers network segment
On 06/01/2010 We will be adding two Tier1 providers to our network each with a 10GE Tiscali and TATA.
Tiscali is one of the biggest Tier1 providers in Europe and will provide great peering.
TATA is one of the biggest Tier1 providers in Asia, and although we dropped them earlier this year after negotiations they were able to do the upgrades requested and we are very pleased to have them back on our network.
On 07/01/2010 We will be adding another Tier1 provider Telia with a 10GE bringing SHARKTECH total network capacity from 20Gbps (as of today) to 50Gbps.
Lastly, I want to apologize to our faithful customers about two issues which even though we are doing the best we can to have them resolved in a timely manner they still had an impact on the quality of service we always try to keep.
We are extremely sorry for the delays in server delivery with some customers waiting 5-6 days for their server to be delivered. Even though we are no longer sold out, but the day we officially re-openned ordering for everyone we were struck with over 30 servers ordered and since than we have been trying to coupe with delivering new orders and recent upgrades we are doing.
We are extremely sorry for the service interruption or lag experienced the last few days due to a huge DDoS attack we have been receiving. We are working with our carriers and the law enforcement daily to have this issue resolved, and it will be resolved once we add the two new providers Tiscali and TATA beginning of this month.
In regards to Denver DC we are very close to finalizing the upgrades we planned done for Chicago, and we should be putting our full effort into bringing Denver up beginning of next week hoping to have it ready to go by the end of June.
