In response to the implementation of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) by the European Union (EU), starting from April 25 of 2018, the Taiwan Network Information Center (TWNIC) may make certain necessary adjustments to the results of the WHOIS inquiries regarding EU registrants.
For EU registrants, if you wish to restore the display of your WHOIS information back to the original format, please contact TWNIC via email (dns@twnic.net.tw) and provide the following information:
Subject: Restoring the Display of WHOIS Information
Content: My registered domain name: [please insert your registered domain name].
I hereby certify and agree that TWNIC may restore the display of the WHOIS information to its original format for the domain name provided above.
Upon receipt of a registrant's written request via email, TWNIC will carry out the verification procedure and make the adjustments to the display of the registrant's WHOIS information.
Latest information on TWINIC's WHOIS service will be made available at https://www.twnic.net.tw/en_blog.php .
