- You are using automatic payments via PayPal as payment method. With this payment method, you do not have to send transfers manually, but instead we charge your PayPal account when a certain amount is due.
- With this e-mail, we would like to inform you that we will perform an automatic payment on 21 May 2021.
- The amount will be €4.99 most likely, but this is only the predicted amount. It may change based on further orders, cancellations, upgrades and manual payments. If there are enough funds on your Contabo customer account on that date, the automatic payment will not be required and consequently not be performed, naturally.
- Please ensure that there is at least one valid funding source configured in your PayPal account. Funding sources can be credit cards or your bank account, for example. Most likely, you already have a valid funding source configured. You can also charge your PayPal account with the required amount in advance to ensure that the transaction will not fail.
- Important: We are notifying you about this planned automatic payment in advance because, if it fails, there may be negative consequences. If the planned automatic payment fails, your account balance will be negative. You will receive another e-mail from us and you will need to make a transaction (most likely €4.99) on the same day. Otherwise, your services at Contabo will be suspended, which is something we want to avoid at all costs.
- All of this will only be relevant in the rare event that the automatic payment fails. Nevertheless, it is important for us to inform you about this in advance.
